Aston Martin and Brough Superior unveil AMB 002 Roadster
Aston Martin and Brough Superior have revealed the AMB 002 Roadster, a limited-edition, road-legal motorcycle.

Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, their first road-legal motorcycle. The limited-edition model will see only 300 units hand-built, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027, according to the source.
This marks a shift from the previous track-only AMB 001 models. The new roadster focuses on lightweight construction, agile handling, and rider involvement.
Powertrain and Frame Construction
At the core of the AMB 002 is a new 1,083 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine. It produces 130 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. The powerplant is tuned for strong low- and mid-range performance while keeping a responsive top end.
Brough Superior designs, machines, and assembles the engine at its facility in Toulouse, France. The engine cases are CNC-machined from billet aluminum. This construction aims to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity. The V-twin sits within a titanium backbone frame, also machined from a solid billet.
That frame weighs just 5 kilograms. It helps achieve a claimed 50:50 weight distribution.
Lightweight Design and Chassis
Extensive use of carbon-fibre for the bodywork and fuel tank brings the motorcycle's total weight to 190 kg. The design prioritises a low centre of gravity and centralised mass. These features are intended to deliver strong acceleration and agile handling.
The front suspension uses Brough Superior's double-wishbone Fior system instead of a conventional telescopic fork. This system separates steering and braking forces. It is designed to maintain front-end geometry during braking and cornering, with anti-dive characteristics meant to improve stability.
Styling and Design Details
Aston Martin's design studio handled the styling. The AMB 002 has a compact, forward-biased profile. Its carbon-fibre bodywork features smooth, sculpted surfaces on the fuel tank and side fairings.
Crescent-shaped openings in the side panels aid engine cooling and airflow. Low-mounted mirror stalks contribute to a minimalist look. Several Aston Martin automotive design cues are adapted for the motorcycle.
The brand's signature side strake runs through the side fairing towards the headlamp. The twin oval exhaust outlets feature ribbed heat sinks inspired by exhaust finishers on Aston Martin cars like the Vanquish, DB12 S, and DBX S. The rear light blades draw inspiration from the Vulcan, Valkyrie, and Valhalla models.
Production and Availability
Other equipment includes keyless operation, a backlit ignition button, and hand-crafted leather seat pads. Each of the 300 motorcycles will be individually built by hand. Orders are now being accepted. Aston Martin and Brough Superior have not yet announced a price for the AMB 002 Roadster.
