Puspakom Hosts GiCheck Auto Weekend Event
Puspakom will hold its first GiCheck Auto Weekend on September 5-6 at Aeon Bukit Tinggi in Klang. The event features road safety activities, vehicle inspections, and a lucky draw with a Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycle as the grand prize.
Puspakom will launch its first GiCheck Auto Weekend event next weekend, September 5-6, at the Aeon Bukit Tinggi shopping center in Klang. The company describes the event as a public education platform combining interactive safety activities with on-site vehicle inspections.
According to Puspakom CEO Mahmood Razak Bahman, the goal is to provide practical road safety experiences. "Road safety is a shared responsibility, and education plays an important role in helping motorists make safer decisions on the road," he said. The company aims to help the public understand vehicle safety and the importance of keeping vehicles roadworthy.
Event Activities and Demos
A core part of the event is a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) simulation. This allows visitors to safely experience the effects of alcohol and drug impairment. Another key activity is a Slalom and ADAS demonstration, designed to show how modern advanced driver-assistance systems work in real driving scenarios.
The road safety zone will host several other demonstrations and activities. These include seat belt convincer demos, blind spot awareness activities, and tyre safety demos. There will also be slalom driving and braking demos, talk shows by experts, and showcases for ADAS and modern vehicle safety technology. Educational activities for both adults and children are planned.

On-site vehicle inspections will be available throughout the weekend. Puspakom will offer several inspection types for those who book a slot in advance through the www.GiCheck.my website.

Several brands are participating in the event. These include EON, Bank Muamalat, Modenas, Fire Fighter, Karcher, 70mai, Lim Tayar, and Pos Malaysia. The event's lucky draw will offer a Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycle as the grand prize.
A dedicated kids zone will feature a mini driving circuit and remote control crawler activities. Children can also participate in sand art sessions and interactive road safety learning. In a separate area, visitors can explore pre-owned cars offered by Carro.
Additional community activities are planned to coincide with the Merdeka period. These include Merdeka Zone contests, 'Merdeka Wishes on Wheels' activities, and patriotic engagement sessions for families.
