The 2027 Ducati Panigale V4 will be available at European Ducati dealerships from March 2027, with North American availability scheduled for April. The model will reach Malaysia in subsequent months. The latest iteration delivers enhanced engine performance and chassis dynamics aimed at racetrack control.

Performance and Power

The 2027 Ducati Panigale V4 produces 218 hp at 13,500 rpm, an increase of 2 hp over the previous model. Maximum torque is 120.6 Nm (89 lb-ft) at 11,000 rpm. Powering the bike is a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale 90-degree V4 engine. The power increase was achieved via modifications to the intake, exhaust, and lubrication systems. A ram-air effect provides an additional 1.3 hp at 300 km/h. The rev limiter in second through fifth gears is raised to 15,000 rpm, contributing to a top speed increase of 12 km/h.

An optional Akrapovic Full Racing Exhaust Pro adds 11 hp and 7 Nm of torque while cutting weight by 6.6 kg.

Chassis and Handling Improvements

Key chassis updates focus on improving agility and front-end feel. The front frame's lateral stiffness has been reduced by 12 percent to improve front-tire contact and rider confidence at high lean angles. The wheelbase is shortened by 8 mm to 1,477 mm for sharper direction changes. Final-drive gearing is taller, changing from 16/41 to 17/42. This revision saves two gear changes per lap at the Vallelunga circuit and increases revs by 500 rpm in second to fifth gears. Aerodynamic updates include a new high-flow intake and new biplane wings with enlarged side endplates.

Specialized V4 S Configuration

The Panigale V4 S model adds several performance and customization features. It includes electronically controlled Öhlins suspension, forged aluminum wheels, and a lithium battery, reducing its wet weight to 412 pounds. The V4 S also adds adjustable clip-ons that can be raised by 10 mm for track use. It joins Ducati’s Factory Made programme, allowing buyers to specify colours, liveries, and selected components during production in Borgo Panigale, Italy.

Customization options are extensive. The V4 S offers colour collections named Icon, Style, and Sophistication, and five additional colours from Automobili Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme. It also offers Performance and Corse liveries. Factory-fitted options include Front Brake PRO and PRO+ packages, an STM dry clutch, and adjustable footpegs. The Factory Made programme offers 45 equipment options in total.

Technical Features and Equipment

Standard equipment across the range is comprehensive. The electronics suite is managed by a six-axis inertial measurement unit and includes cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control DVO, Slide Control, Wheelie Control DVO, Power Launch DVO, and Quick Shift 2.0. New Dynamic Engine Brake Control and Race Brake Control work with the Vehicle Observer system. The bike offers five riding modes: Race A, Race B, Sport, Road, and Wet.

Braking is handled by Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers. The bike rides on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tires with a 200/60 rear. A 6.9-inch full-TFT dashboard provides rider information, and full-LED lighting is standard. The bike is ready to install Ducati’s Data Logger and Multimedia System. It comes in single-seat form in Ducati Red with an Urban Grey frame and black wheels, with a passenger kit available as an accessory. The standard V4 weighs 191 kg without fuel. Ducati said, "The latest model recorded an average lap time 0.4 seconds quicker than its predecessor at Italy’s Vallelunga circuit."
