Luxeed to launch six new NEVs globally from 2027
Luxeed, the Chery-Huawei joint venture, will launch six new energy vehicles globally, starting with the LLounge MPV and Stormax SUV in 2027.

Luxeed is launching six new energy vehicles globally, with the first two models being the LLounge MPV and Stormax SUV. The global launch will initially introduce these two models outside China, with a phased rollout starting in 2027 targeting right-hand drive and Middle East markets. The six models will be split across three distinct product lines and are expected to offer up to three powertrain types: battery electric, plug-in hybrid, and extended-range electric vehicles.
The brand, a joint venture between Chery and Huawei founded in 2023, is part of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance. Its international expansion marks a strategic push into premium global EV markets. The six-model plan includes the Stormax SUV, the LLounge MPV, and four additional SUVs with the temporary designations 3, 5, 7, and 9.

These four global models will also be available with the three powertrain options. The models currently sold in China as the V9 and RX will be renamed LLounge and Stormax, respectively, for global markets.
Global pricing and specifications for all models have not been announced. Australia is expected to be among the first right-hand drive markets. The rollout begins in 2027, with the LLounge MPV and Stormax SUV leading the charge into new territories.
