Subaru of America revealed the 2027 WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15 special editions at Boxerfest 2026, honoring the 25th and 15th anniversaries of the models' U.S.

Subaru of America unveiled the 2027 WRX GD25 and 2027 BRZ ZC15 at Boxerfest 2026 in York, Pennsylvania. The event took place on September 28, 2026. These limited-run models celebrate the legacy of the GD and ZC chassis cars that first arrived in the United States in 2002 and 2012, respectively. William Stokes, Car Line Planning Manager for Subaru of America, presented the vehicles.
WRX GD25: Performance and Design Details
The 2027 WRX GD25 commemorates the 2002 arrival of the original GD chassis WRX. It is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER engine producing 271 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, paired with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and a mandatory six-speed manual transmission upgraded with an STI short shifter.
The car is painted exclusively in World Rally Blue and rides on gold-painted 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. A dry carbon fiber swan-neck rear wing from Subaru Tecnica International (STI), sourced from Travis Pastrana’s ARA25L rally car, dominates the rear. The interior features Recaro seats with black Ultrasuede inserts and red accent stitching, plus an STI shift knob.
Performance upgrades are comprehensive. They include uprated Brembo brakes with gold-painted calipers, a flexible strut tower bar, and a performance-tuned suspension with stiffer springs and revised dampers matched to the Potenza tires.

Its exterior is finished exclusively in brilliant Ceramic White with a black decklid spoiler and subtle bronze decals near the side sills. It rolls on matte bronze wheels with gold-painted Brembo calipers. Under the hood, a flexible V-bar adds rigidity.
Inside, the cabin features black leather with Bordeaux red inserts and a unique 'ZC15' anniversary edition plaque near the shifter. Subaru states the white-on-bronze colour scheme is an homage to the 2020 Subaru BRZ tS, which was also limited to 300 units.
