Ceer launches Exobot EV sedan and SUV with tri-motor power
Saudi Arabia's Ceer has launched its first electric vehicles, the Exobot sedan and SUV, featuring an 800V platform and tri-motor powertrains with up to

Saudi Arabia's first homegrown electric vehicle brand, Ceer, has launched its inaugural product series named Exobot. The series consists of a sedan and an SUV, both set for production at the Ceer Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City.
Launched in November 2022, Ceer is a joint venture between Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn. The brand plans a portfolio of seven models by 2030.
The Exobot models are built on an 800-volt electrical architecture. This platform supports ultra-fast charging, capable of replenishing the 112-kWh battery from 10% to 80% state of charge in under 30 minutes. Initial First Edition variants will feature a tri-motor electric drivetrain producing 850 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque.
Performance Specifications
Performance figures vary between the body styles and powertrain options. The source provides the following comparative data:
| Model | Powertrain | 0-100 km/h | Top Speed (km/h) | NEDC Range (km) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exobot Sedan | Tri-motor (850 hp) | 2.6 seconds | 250 | 670 |
| Exobot SUV | Tri-motor (850 hp) | 2.9 seconds | 210 | 560 |
| Exobot Sedan | Tri-motor (1,111 hp) | 2.1 seconds | 250 | Not specified |
| Exobot SUV | Tri-motor (1,111 hp) | 2.4 seconds | 210 | Not specified |
Ceer also touts a more powerful tri-motor configuration rated at 1,111 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. The brand claims this setup reduces the 0-100 km/h times to 2.1 seconds for the sedan and 2.4 seconds for the SUV. Driving features include steer-by-wire technology, rear-wheel steering, torque vectoring, an active chassis, and up to Level 3 advanced driver-assistance systems.
Vehicle Dimensions and Design
The sedan measures 5.26 metres long, 2.1 metres wide, and 1.43 metres tall. The SUV is 5.02 metres long, 2.1 metres wide, and 1.69 metres tall. Both vehicles share a wheelbase of 3,200 mm.
Ceer states the design reflects Saudi Arabia's identity with dynamic proportions and a wedge profile. A key feature is the windshield, which the company claims is the largest ever produced at 2.4 metres long, set at a 15-degree incline. The vehicles also feature "Shahin wing doors," inspired by a local falcon, which measure nearly three metres long. These doors open in a 60 cm arc and can be operated remotely.
Design elements include 32 bars of light across the body, pointing to the year 1932 when Saudi Arabia was unified. The forged aluminium wheels feature a triangular motif influenced by traditional Al-Lahuj architectural openings.
Interior and Production Details
The cabin features a 48-inch screen that spans from pillar to pillar, accompanied by a vertical 10.4-inch touchscreen. A yoke-style steering wheel is fitted for the driver. The lower section of the doors can be switched between tinted and opaque at the touch of a button. Rear passengers have an eight-inch display, and a tri-zone climate system is standard.
The First Edition versions will come with a numbered plaque matching the vehicle identification number and more standard equipment. Exterior color options are Harrat Grey or White Musk. Ceer states the Plus version will replace the First Edition after the initial production run is complete. Manufacturing for both body styles is confirmed for the Ceer Manufacturing Complex in Saudi Arabia.
