MINI Malaysia has launched the Cooper S Oxford Edition, a limited-run model celebrating 25 years of MINI production at the brand's Plant Oxford facility. The launch brings just six units to the Malaysian market, with a starting price of RM289,888.
The special edition is based on the standard F66-generation Cooper S 3-Door. It uses the same B48 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 204 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
Pricing and Warranty Options
Pricing for the Oxford Edition carries a RM6,000 premium over the regular Cooper S 3-Door. The base price includes a standard two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. Customers can opt for the MINI Service and Repair Inclusive (MSRI) package, which extends coverage to four years and includes a service plan, for a total of RM300,288.

Exclusive Design Features
As a special edition, the car receives unique design elements to set it apart. The most prominent is a Union Jack graphic applied to the roof, bonnet, and rear. Matching Union Jack details are found on the wheel hub caps and tyre valves. Exterior paint is limited to three colours: Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue, and Blazing Blue, with only two units allocated per colour.
The British theme continues inside. The badge on the steering wheel base features a Union Jack design. The side sills and floor mats carry coordinated detailing. According to the source, even the key fob sports the Union Jack flag.

Mechanically and equipment-wise, the Oxford Edition mirrors the standard Cooper S 3-Door. Standard features include adaptive LED headlights, matrix LED taillights, and 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone alloy wheels. The interior is trimmed in black Vecsin faux leather and includes a 9.4-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen, a head-up display, a Qi wireless charger, and a Harman Kardon sound system. A 360-degree camera and an ADAS suite with autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) are also fitted.

The launch commemorates the production heritage at Plant Oxford in Cowley, Oxfordshire. The facility, built on the site of a former Morris Motors plant, has been building MINI vehicles since the launch of the modern 'New Mini' in 2001.
