Letbe Mecha Scooter Considered for Malaysia Launch
Chinese brand Letbe may launch its Mecha scooter in Malaysia as early as next year, with distributor MForce Bike Holdings considering the model.

Chinese motorcycle brand Letbe could introduce its first model to Malaysia as early as next year. According to information received by Paultan.org, the Mecha scooter is among the models being considered by local distributor MForce Bike Holdings.
The brand made its Malaysian debut at the MForce MotoXperience event in May. The specific version or versions that might be brought to the market have not been decided.
Powertrain and Performance
In its home market, the Letbe Mecha is offered with three engine capacities. All variants use a single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine compliant with Euro 5+ emissions standards and are paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
| Variant | Power | Torque |
|---|---|---|
| 125 cc | 12 hp | 12.5 Nm |
| 150 cc | 16 hp | 14.7 Nm |
| 200 cc | 17.5 hp | 17.6 Nm |
Design and Chassis Features
The scooter features a distinctive, boxy design. It comes equipped with full LED lighting, illuminated Letbe branding, and side panels that change colour.
It rides on a 14-inch front wheel and a 13-inch rear wheel. Suspension is handled by a telescopic fork at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is provided by Nissin calipers on both wheels, with dual-channel ABS fitted as standard.
Equipment and Technology
Rider aids include a traction control system and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. A TFT instrument panel displays information for the rider.
The Mecha offers practical storage space under the seat and within two compartments inside the front cowl. The left-side compartment houses a 12-Volt power socket along with USB-A and USB-C ports. The right-side compartment features an emergency keyhole.
Other equipment comprises a 12-litre fuel tank, smart keyless entry, and an engine automatic start-stop function. The scooter has a seat height of 766 mm and a listed weight of 145 kg. A spacious footboard and a standard rear luggage rack are also included.
MForce Bike Holdings has not confirmed which Letbe models will be introduced in Malaysia, or if the Mecha will be among them. The distributor is still evaluating its options for the brand's local lineup.
If launched, the Mecha's combination of distinctive styling and comprehensive equipment could position it as an interesting option in the market. Its potential arrival hinges on the distributor's final decision.
