Honda Malaysia launches updated 2026 WR-V
Honda Malaysia launches the updated 2026 WR-V with a new 10-inch head unit and revised variants, priced from RM94,900 to RM104,900.

Honda Malaysia launched the updated 2026 Honda WR-V on September 1, 2026. The model receives interior and exterior revisions three years after its initial Malaysian debut in July 2023, aiming to boost its position in our standings for compact SUVs.
The variant lineup has been streamlined from four to three models. The base S variant has been discontinued, making the E variant the new entry point.
Pricing for the updated models shows a slight reduction compared to their original launch figures. The E variant is priced at RM94,900, the V at RM98,900, and the range-topping RS at RM104,900.
Powertrain and Performance
The powertrain remains unchanged across all variants. A 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine produces 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT driving the front wheels. Top speed is 160 km/h, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time ranging from 11 to 11.2 seconds depending on specification.
Exterior and Interior Updates
Exterior changes are subtle. The most notable update is a new two-tone Blazing Red Pearl with black roof paint scheme exclusive to the RS variant. This replaces the previous Ignite Red Metallic, while Crystal Black Pearl has been removed from the color palette. Other returning colors are Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Stellar Diamond Pearl.
The RS variant's front grille is now finished in all-black, replacing the previous chrome chequered design. All variants now ride on 17-inch black alloy wheels with 215/55R17 tires, marking an upgrade for the E variant which previously had 16-inch wheels.
Inside, the dashboard receives Dark Steel accents. The key upgrade is the replacement of the previous seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen with a new 10-inch system across all variants. This system includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard.
The RS gains specific interior enhancements including red ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, and a 360-degree camera. Leather upholstery is now standard for both the V and RS variants, whereas the pre-update model featured some fabric areas.
